Today we learned about the 321 RIQ strategy on blogging.
This strategy consist of three things:
These three strategies will help you learn, understand and question something that you, either have already learned or trying to learn. The reason why this works great on a blog is that you can always remember what you had learned. Whenever you blog something, you will always have a certain idea as to what you just had done.
3 Recall - is when you remember at least 3 things on what you just worked on.
2 Insights - learning at least 2 or more new things in a certain subject.
1 Question - is when you question something you are curious or not sure about.
Each technique has its own perks that will help you learn better in writing and reading.
My reflection on 2/3 ESOL so far, is that it has been going very smoothly so far. For the past week, we have introduced ourselves properly and wrote as to why Blogging is beneficial.
Three things I remember for the last week is that we had to write an introduction about ourselves, why Bloggin is beneficial, and practiced our listening skills by introducing ourselves out loud.
Two things I had learned are the names and personalities of the other students in ESOL class. And the 321 RIQ strategy in blogging.
One question I have is what ESOL is going to be like this year. Especially compared to last year.
