Africans slaves does the work for the white people, they do things for them such as picking cotton,planting plants, some African women are even taken to take care of the white people's babies for them. African slaves worked their lives day and night everyday without rest, African slaves weren't aloud to take a break because if they do they would get beaten. The Africans slaves made a song about their everyday life. about how they worked so hard just to not get beaten by their owners.

This is an example of African slaves singing about their lives as a slaves. These songs were made by the slaves in order to get entertained and alerted.

This is another example of a song that slaves sang for entertainment, about how they work and what they did, they picked cotton all day with no rest, because if they did they would get beaten and sometimes even killed.

Explain the feeling that you get when you listen to these songs?

The feelings i get from listening to these songs are anger since slaves worked so hard just to not get beaten.

What kind of information about slavery did you learn from these songs?

The lessons that i learnt is that it's hard to be a slave, i also learnt how and what they did.

What can you relate to in any of these songs?

I can't say i can relate to these but i think there are people who would.

What do you think the slaves are talking about in these songs?

About how they worked and how they wanted to take a break but they couldn't.
